(CEO)

Steve founded The Becerra Group Tax and Accounting Firm in 1994. His specialties include business strategies, business planning, and financial analysis. He also served as director of the South Valley Small Business Development Center. Steve has his degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico.

Ruby Bencomo, EA

(COO)

Ruby has been with the Becerra Group for ten years and serves as the Manager of the firm. She started at the bottom and worked her way up, so understands what needs to be done, how it needs to be done and when it needs to be done. Ruby has her degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico. She is experienced in bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation and tax advisement. Ruby is an Enrolled Agent candidate.

Lisa Mondragon

Our Lead Bookkeeper in charge of all bookkeeping workflow and compliance reporting.

Juanita Cerda

Staff bookkeeper charged with client bookkeeping and tax preparation. She has worked in accounting for over 20 years.

Joella Apodaca

Tax Representation Specialist. Joella worked as a revenue agent and Offer in Compromise specialist at the IRS for over 30 years.

Val Crain

(Associate)

Bookkeeper Extraordinaire. She has over 20 years of experience in budgeting, bookkeeping and financial analysis. She is Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

Sam Chavez

Tax Representation specialist. Sam worked as a revenue officer at the IRS for over 30 years.
